Chefs at Cafes Getting Coffee with Mark Clayton

I catch up with my chef friend Mark Clayton, the talented chef of Squable. Please note: this is not a cooking video. It's more of a podcast. Thanks to my wife, Diane, for coming up with the idea and the questions - this ended up being really fun! Hopefully, we'll get to make a few more. For those in Houston, we shot this at Throughgood Coffee, located in the Heights. They put out great coffee and the food truck there (Soul Taco) is really freaking good!

Here's a list of the questions that come up, as well as when:

0:00:00 When and where did y'all first meet?

0:01:04 What was your first job?

0:02:59 How do you take your coffee?

0:04:10 Imagine yourself in 3 years. What do you hope will be different then compared to now?

0:07:13 What's one work related thing you want to accomplish in the next year?

0:10:03 Have you ever disliked something and then changed your mind?

0:15:33 Do chefs watch cooking shows?

0:16:42 Do you have any aspirations to be on any sort of show?

0:19:10 Do you ever get recognized?

0:23:17 Aside from necessities, what one thing can you not go without?

0:31:27 If you had to choose only 3 adjectives to describe yourself, which would you choose?

0:34:23 If the other person weren't here, what would be the 3 adjectives you'd use to describe them?

0:37:45 If you have the power to change one thing about the restaurant industry, what would that be?

0:45:06 Who should we interview next?
