When we were planning burger-chan 2.0 a few years back, we wanted to pay tribute to a couple friends who passed away unexpectedly. Unfortunately as the years go by, there are more people we'd like to honor posthumously, like Chef Alex Au-Yeung | @au.yeung.alex of Phat Eatery | @phateatery . Whenever we look up at that section of the wall, we're reminded of the joy that food brings to people's lives, and we're reminded why we do what we do. Food brings people together, and food makes people happy. It really is that simple. Food is love.
